1. Get in touch with our team

Fill out an inquiry form. We’ll contact you within 24 hours on business days!

2. Let’s talk about the needs of your fleet

From this point, you’ll have a dedicated client project manager. Let’s have a call to discuss things in more detail so that we can advise you about the best options for your fleet:

How many and what kind of vehicles are in your fleet?

What do you want to achieve using fleet management solutions?

Do you already use any digital tools for fleet management?

We will also show you the Telematica platform so you can be sure it’s what you’re looking for. Or, even better, we can install a test device on your company’s vehicle with free access to the platform! That way you’ll see how everything works in real-life circumstances.

3. Preparing a tailored offer and a pricing overview

Check out the offer

Using all the available information, our client project manager will prepare a price estimate that includes the most suitable subscription plan and add-ons, device costs, monthly payments for software, and so on.

Sign the contract

After discussing and finalising the quote, it’s time to sign a contract.

Access the platform

Once the contract is signed, we will give you Telematica platform access, but at that point, you won’t see any data there, unless you already have a test account.

4. Setting things up for vehicle location tracking

The main element of the Telematica platform is vehicle tracking, which requires GPS tracking devices in vehicles. A client project manager will consult you on the best options.

Installation by Telematica
Our technicians can do the installation after we’ve agreed on costs and schedule. Then, our employees will activate the devices to be visible in your Telematica platform account and connect them to a specific “unit”.

Simple self installation
We offer some basic and advanced devices that you can install on your own if you have the time and experience.

Pre-installed devices
In some cases, the vehicles already have devices installed from the factory, which can be connected to the platform using an integration.

Reusable trackers
If you have tracking devices from your previous fleet management solution provider, they can often be reused. We’ll need to connect them to the Telematica platform.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How to start using the Telematica apps?
When you get login data for the Telematica platform, you can use the same information to log in the Telematica Manager app. To use the Telematica Driver app, you’ll need to create a new platform user with the status Driver, and enable access for them.
How to track non-powered assets?
Traditional GPS tracking devices require a power source, such as a car battery. If you are interested in monitoring an asset that doesn’t provide power, you can do it with our Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) trackers. They have a long-lasting battery and can be attached to almost anything, from waste containers to construction tools. Your Telematica client project manager will help you find the best device for your case. We can then send it to you for self-installation, or you can schedule a technician’s visit. A BLE tracker works by sending Bluetooth signal to a GPS tracking device (which then sends location data to the Telematica platform), so you’ll need to make sure there’s a compatible telematics device nearby.
What do I need to track fuel consumption?
Many tracking devices support data collection from the vehicle’s on-board computer, which includes fuel. However, for more accurate and advanced insights, we suggest installing fuel sensors. All fuel-related data are available on the Telematica platform as part of the Pro plan.
What do I need to start using cameras?
Telematica offers starter-level dash cams that you can install on your own (or with the help of our technicians), and they don’t require any extra hardware. However, if you’re interested in multiple cameras for one vehicle, you’ll need a separate DVR unit that Telematica technicians can install and activate. The fleet camera solution is a paid add-on, and is separate from all subscription plans.
What do I need to start using driver behaviour analysis?
Driver behaviour analysis calculates a score for every driver based on driving parameters, such as harsh braking or speeding. You’ll need a device that can detect these events – our client consultants can help you choose the right one. The solution itself is included in the Telematica platform’s Pro plan.
